# volume rm

Usage:  docker volume rm VOLUME [VOLUME]...

Remove a volume

Aliases:
  rm, remove

Options:
      --help   Print usage
```

Removes one or more volumes. You cannot remove a volume that is in use by a container.

    $ docker volume rm hello
    hello
